Jason has been a financial adviser for over twenty years and, alongside his work with clients, is also our Practice Supervisor tasked with ongoing training for the team and ensuring the business is up to speed with regulatory changes and directives. This role means Jason has a broad knowledge of all aspects of financial planning and his clients range from those wishing to buy their first home through to those looking to preserve their estate for future generations.

Away from the office, Jason enjoys cycling, football and golf. He is also a committed fundraiser for his favourite charities.

James has worked in financial services for over twenty years where he gained a broad range of experience in the Lloyds Banking Group. He has specialised in mortgage and protection advice for over fifteen years. James is a founder partner in Maple Leaf Consulting Ltd in 2008 and looks after the Practice's mortgage, protection and general insurance needs.

James loves helping first time buyers every step of the way and reviewing clients’ mortgage needs whilst helping to reduce the term where possible, thereby helping clients to be mortgage free as soon as possible.

James loves nothing more than spending time with his wife and daughter. They are keen travellers, who love to explore new countries and sample different cultures.

Phil has been a financial adviser for almost twenty five years. In that time Phil has come to specialise in pensions & investments, making sure his clients’ money works as hard as they did to acquire it.

Outside work he spends too much time reading thrillers and thinking about getting fit.

Steve has a wealth of Adviser experience with the Medical Insurance Agency, Hambro Life, Allied Dunbar, the Zurich Advice Network and Openwork. Steve enjoys working with his clients and helping them to meet their financial goals, a substantial number of whom have had this advice relationship over many years. Steve’s major focus is advice ‘at Retirement’ and tax efficient investment.

Away from business, Steve is a family man and enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters and the family dog. He enjoys keeping fit at Neston Recreation Centre.

Jez has been a financial adviser for thirty-eight years, helping clients with their differing needs. His will take time to understand your personal circumstances and make appropriate and effective recommendations to help move you forward.

Together with looking after existing clients, Jez is always happy to help new ones and build long term working relationships. Jez is a general practitioner having relevant licences for pre and post retirement, pensions, investment, protection and mortgage advice.

Jez married with one daughter and enjoys walking, cycling and sport. He is also a talented drummer, playing in various music ensembles in his spare time.

Richard has been providing mortgage and protection advice to clients for over thirty years. From helping people save money on their existing mortgage to raising capital for home improvements. Whether they are building or buying their dream home or just trying to get on the ladder, Richard is there to help.

Richard is passionate about protection too, making sure everyone he speaks to understands why it's vital to protect everything they've worked so hard for.

Away from the office Richard enjoys holidays in the sun with his family, walking his dog, playing golf and watching his football team play.

Karen provides admin support which is a role that she has fulfilled throughout her career at Hambro Life, Allied Dunbar, Birmingham Midshires and Arthur Andersen.

Being involved in Maple Leaf Consulting Ltd has enabled Karen to continue to provide IT and Admin Support which is something she’s pleased to do.

Outside work Karen enjoys, in no particular order, looking after the family dog, reading crime novels and trying new recipes for family dinners.
